What is the patient portal?
The patient portal is a convenient, 24/7 online tool that makes it easier to manage your healthcare. You can schedule real-time appointments, refill medications, access lab results, send secure messages to your provider, attend virtual appointments, complete forms, pay your bill, plus many more features. The patient portal can be accessed by clicking on the yellow button at the top of the cumminslivewell.com site.
We encourage you to register for the portal using a non-work email address. If you have questions or need assistance completing registration, please call or email the LiveWell Center at the contact information below.
Who can use the patient portal?
Only active Indiana Cummins employees and their spouses/domestic partners covered by the Cummins insurance plan can use the patient portal.
Who cannot use the patient portal?
Dependents of Cummins employees with the Cummins insurance plan and anyone who is not covered by the Cummins insurance plan cannot use the patient portal. If you are a dependent, need to make an appointment for a dependent, or don’t have the Cummins insurance plan, you will need to call the LiveWell Center instead of using the patient portal.
Why can’t dependents and those who don’t have the Cummins insurance plan use the portal?
Cummins provides Premise Health, the operator of the LiveWell Center, with eligibility information for the portal. Cummins does not have this information for dependents or those who don’t use the Cummins insurance plan.

Do I need to pay my fee at the LiveWell Center or will I be billed?
You will need to pay the fee outlined in the fee schedule at the time of your visit. If for some reason that is not possible, you can pay the fee on the patient portal. If any fees are not paid, you will be expected to make payment upon arrival for your next scheduled appointment. Please note: Outstanding bills are posted to the patient portal once a month so even though you may need to make a payment, you may not see it immediately on the portal.
How long should I expect my appointment to take?
Because the LiveWell Center is focused on providing a quality health care experience to Cummins employees and their families, your initial appointment particularly may be a little longer than what you would typically expect. The Center provides tailored care based on your particular health, needs and goals, so we want to be sure you have time to ask all the questions you may have and learn about specific tools to achieve optimal health on your own terms. When you schedule your appointment, please be specific about what you would like to address during your visit so the appropriate amount of time can be allotted.

What is the Cummins LiveWell Center?
The Cummins LiveWell Center is part of Cummins’ vision to make health and well-being part of everything we do. The Center provides high quality care with a particular focus on improving health and wellness outcomes through total lifestyle choices. Lifestyle includes behaviors we engage in every day — what we eat, how much we exercise, the amount of sleep we get at night, whether we smoke tobacco or not, and more.
Are family members of employees eligible to take advantage of the offerings at the LiveWell Center?
Yes. Active Indiana Cummins employees and their dependents, including children 2 years of age and up, will be eligible for services at the center.
Why did Cummins build this new health and wellness center?
It is part of our company mission that everything we do leads to a cleaner, healthier and safer environment and that includes the health and wellness of our employees and their families. We have been frustrated for a long time by rapidly rising health costs for employees and for Cummins without seeing a similar increase in health and well-being. Our investment in the LiveWell Center is an effort to improve health outcomes for our employees and their families.
