Incorporating more fruits and vegetables or new healthy foods into your daily schedule can be intimidating. A One on One Culinary Coaching session is a personal and safe opportunity to explore new foods with the LiveWell Center Chef, Sandy Thomas. During the twenty minute appointment, you will learn how a particular food benefits your health. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to discover a fast, easy, and delicious preparation method. This appointment will include food sampling, some hands-on time, and Q+A session.
Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring or labor intensive. How does a chef make cooking look so easy? A chef knows that with the proper tools and good organization, a recipe will come together successfully. Classes will include a demonstration of core culinary tools and small appliances as well as a fast and simple recipe preparation. 30-Minute Demo Classes will include food sampling and Q+A session
Welcome to The Foundations of Plant Based Whole Foods Cooking, an informative, useful, and enjoyable class series filled with techniques, recipes, and strategies to use in daily eating and cooking. Each sixty minute hands-on cooking class is a dynamic blend of nutrition and hands-on participation. The healthy recipes included are so tasty we are certain you will recreate them at home. All cooking levels from beginner to experienced are encouraged to participate. 60-Minute Hands-On Classes will include cooking an entire recipe, food sampling, recipe sharing, and Q+A session.
What’s for dinner? Imagine all of the shopping taken care of and all ingredients organized for you to make 3 complete dinner entrees; that’s what you’ll find here. Each entrée averages 6 servings – that’s 18 portions of food prepared in about two hours. At a Make Ahead Meal’s class, you will chop, cook, and assemble three one-pot meals, ready to take home and cook and/or heat up when you are ready. This fast- paced class is practical yet enjoyable and filled with techniques, recipes, and strategies to use in daily eating and cooking. The healthy recipes included are so tasty we are certain you will recreate them at home. All cooking levels from beginner to experienced are encouraged to participate.
